Granola
My first time making my own granola. I looked over someone else's recipe for strategy but freestyled after that.
It has pumpkin and sunflower seeds, cashews, and steel cut oats, meaning it didn't stick together in clumps terribly well. I used steel cut oats because that's what Bob's Red Mill put up in bulk on 2 Good 2 Go, so I have a lot of it to use.
The pumpkin seeds were raw but the only sunflower seeds I could find were roasted, so my granola has an extra roasted savory flavor despite all the maple and brown sugar that went into it. It's not what I want out of a fistful of granola or a bar, but it goes really well on sweet flavored yogurts and pretty good on tart plain yogurts. I really enjoy it on strawberry Greek yogurt.
