Air fryer sweet potato
I love sweet potato, yet it's always disproportionately difficult to get myself to bake my sweet potatoes. All I need to do is wash them, cube them, toss them with oil and seasoning, and bake them. I think there's an inherent friction in even the easiest oven dish since the physical process is awkward and chances are not insignificant that I'll burn (or almost burn) myself. When I bought my air fryer, I was worried that I wouldn't end up using it enough to be worth the money and space. I really had nothing to worry about, given the oven friction that's fully relieved in the air fryer.
I like to use paprika and oregano in everything. I also used thyme this time. I'm not sure if there's a meaningful difference in taste.
The one negative thing I would have to say about them is... Last time, I had some special Japanese sweet potatoes, and they were so delicious and creamy to bite into!! These sweet potatoes... They're not that. They're just the standard fibrous sweet potato. Much as I love sweet potato, it's like I've seen the faces of immortals and now regular human faces can't compare. They're good sweet potatoes! They're just not those potatoes.
